 Great Boot! But, Order One Size Smaller March 21, 2008

These are very warm, well made boots, especially for the (sale) price. Shipping was fast too. My only complaint would be that the description said to order in your normal shoe size, but be warned-- these boots run HUGE! I always wear a women's size 9 so that's what I ordered. They were a comfortable fit when I first received them in January. Now, in March, since the shearling has packed down, they are an absolute sloppy fit. So much so, I can only use them as slippers. I'm disappointed that I can't wear them outside on outings, so I'll order a size 8 the next time around. I should have returned them for a smaller size, but by the time I knew it, I felt it was too late, since I'd already been wearing them for a few weeks.

I also did a lot of reseach on these boots, and I am happy to say I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I bought the 12" and they are perfect. I can see if you have a bigger calf to get the 10". My calf measures 13 1/2" and the boots are perfect especially with skinny jeans and work with regular jeans too. I've had the boots for a couple of weeks and the shaft of the boot is loosening up a bit which makes the fit even better. I contacted Bearpaw Boots about the fit and they said "order your normal whole size. Half sizes then go up one" I wear a size 9 and they at first felt kinda snug but after a few wears the shearling inside will begin to conform to your foot and then the boots will fit perfect...they are sooooo comfortable!!! In fact, it seems every time I put them on, they are more comfortable then the last time! I got these in the sand color ...and sprayed them with a rain and stain for suede I found at payless. I found out that Scotch Gaurd could change the color so I wanted to avoid that. I've already told my husband I need a black pair now. If I could get away with wearing them everyday at work I would, but people might think I'm kinda strange...So if I haven't worn them to work, then they are the first thing I put on as soon as I get home! I love these boots! Great product and Great price.

I was reading the 1 star reviews and they all mentioned how their boots fell apart. I found it strange because I've gone hiking and tree climbing in mine and they never even ripped. They get really dirty and its hard to clean, I wouldn't recommend it. I had them for about a year before the soles wore down, but thats probably because I wore mine every other day and I drag my feet. Now I'm here for my next pair, yay!!

I would absolutely recommend these boots to anyone who is looking to be chic and stylish while at the same time warm and comfortable! The price is great for the quality! I would definitely order 1/2 size bigger; I'm a size 8.5 and a 9 is perfect. My order arrived on time and in great condition! Once you break these boots in, you'll never want to leave the house without them on!

I ordered the 12" chocolate boot, in a half size larger than normal due to the reviews. When they first arrived & I tried them on I thought the foot was too big and the leg too tight, but the next time I tried on the leg had stretched slightly, which allowed my foot to fall completel into the boot apparently. The leg has stretched just enough to be very comfortable, and the fit is perfect now. These are a nice looking pair of boots, great for wearing around my cold house and sturdy enough to wear outside also. I generally wear all day, taking the dog out and going to the mailbox in the snow, etc. Great quality, nice and cozy and I got a good price through Amazon. Wish I had ordered another pair.
